Eve Awakens: A Glimpse Into Paradise
God's Loving Story of Salvation
24 Episodes - 45 minutes each
a 3D animated series on the story of our salvation & the birth of our redeemer
WHY make a production about the nativity?
As the world of entertainment delves deeper into stories showcasing the demonic as misunderstood heroes, today more than ever we need to remember the significance of Jesus' birth and what He came to do.
The truth about the consequences of evil needs to be revealed once again and reinforce the love and mercy shown by God by sending us our Saviour.
The simple answer as to why we are doing this production is because Christ's birth was singularly the most epic event in human history, when God became man, marking forever the course of human history and the course of countless lives of those who have turned to Him with a contrite heart.
WHAT SETS THIS PROJECT APPART?
Our Coming of The Messiah™ is the first ever Nativity of our Lord story produced as a 3D animated series. What makes our project different is that we go back to the beginning of creation in order to establish the real enemy and the real conflict that our Lord came to solve.
This series explores God's original plan for creation, the rebellion of the angels, the fall of humanity which leads to the need for a Redeemer. The series continues the journey through the Old Testament personages that prefigure Christ, with 24 episodes of 45 minutes each.

We proceed to showcase the principal characters of the Old Testament that foreshadow The Christ, and that reveal a characteristic that is then fulfilled by Him. For example, with Noah we see a new beginning; with Melchizedek we see "Priesthood"; with Abraham we see "covenant"; with Isaac we see "Sacrifice"; with Moses we see "Deliverance", with King David we see "Kingship and The Kingdom"; with Elijah we see "The Resurrection" and so on. Only then can we cohesively weave the Story of Salvation that makes evident the need and the mission of The Messiah.
Why a series?
To accurately portray each character and their role in God's plan of redemption, we must present them through individual episodes. This approach allows us to clearly demonstrate how each Old Testament figure foreshadows Christ and His mission. Only by separating these stories can we fully connect the dots, revealing how God progressively unveiled aspects of His Son through these key historical figures.
WHAT is the current stage of production?
The 3nity Team is currently working on two 2D Pitch Videos:
-
The Beginning - a 2 minute video which we intend to produce in 3D, showcasing how, in order to understand the magnificence of Jesus' birth, we must go back to the beginning. We are currently working on the 2D grayscale animatic for this.
-
The Story of Our Salvation - a 10 minute grayscale animatic video that will introduce the overarching story of our series. We will have two versions of this video, one with a theological narration that explains our process of discerning our Creative license and another one that is enacted with voice overs and music.
We have made our animatic in grayscale, which aids in the planning for each scene, to see depth of field, lighting set up, etc.
This videos are important because they are our proof of concept; we will be able to show you the level of quality with which we are committed to develop this series, which we find to be of intrinsic importance, specially when it comes to the 3D development.
Purpose of an Animatic:

An animatic is essentially a rough draft of an animated film or series. It's made up of a series of storyboard images, often set to temporary sound and dialogue, that are played in sequence to give a sense of timing, pacing, and flow for the final animation. Think of it as a moving sketch or blueprint of the final product.
The animatic serves several key purposes:
-
Timing and Pacing: It helps determine the length of scenes, how fast or slow the action should be, and how smoothly the story transitions from one scene to the next.
-
Storytelling Feedback: It allows the creators to check if the story is working visually and emotionally. They can make changes easily before moving into more expensive parts of production.

-
Collaboration Tool: Directors, animators, and other departments use the animatic to ensure everyone is on the same page about the look and feel of the project before investing time and resources into detailed animation.
Storyboard:
a visual roadmap for a film, animation, or video project. It’s a series of sketches or images laid out in sequence to show how the story will unfold, much like a comic strip.
Pipeline Process and Where the Animatic Fits In:
In a 3D animated production, the pipeline refers to the stages a project goes through from idea to final product. Here's a simplified version of the pipeline and where the animatic fits in:
Pre-Production:
Concept Development: The idea for the project is created.
Scriptwriting: The story is written.
Storyboarding: The script is turned into a sequence of drawings showing key scenes.
Animatic Creation: The storyboards are assembled in sequence with temporary audio to form the animatic. This is the first time you see the project in motion, even though it's rough. The animatic allows the team to make changes before committing to full production.
Production:
Modelling: Characters, props, and environments are created in 3D.
Layout: Rough placement of models and cameras is set up based on the animatic to establish framing and movement.
Animation: Detailed character movements are added.
Lighting/Rendering: Final lighting and textures are applied, and the scenes are rendered into full 3D.
Post-Production:
Compositing: Layers of animation, effects, and lighting are combined.
Sound and Music: Final sound effects and music are added.
Final Edit: The film is polished and prepared for release.
The animatic is an essential step in pre-production because it saves time and money. It allows the team to experiment with pacing, visuals, and story direction before investing in the labor-intensive stages of 3D modeling and animation.
WHY 3D?
Because 3D assets are reusable and recyclable, we decided
to pull up our sleeves and get to work in our 3D development. While the initial investment will be much larger at the beginning, it will enable us to do numerous future projects on biblical stories, which is part of our long term plan as a studio.
Below is our model for Adam in its initial development stage. Currently we are working on its rig, which operate like the skeleton in a body. We then have to complete the Look Development with the final textures and hair.
OUR AIM WITH THIS PROJECT
Each main figure in the Old Testament foreshadows a vital aspect of the Messiah: Abraham reveals God’s covenant with humanity, Isaac prefigures the ultimate sacrifice for redemption,
Our goal is to create the first-ever 3D animated Bible Study, rooted in the overarching narrative of salvation. Using the 14 historical books of the Old Testament as our foundation, we will connect each key character and event to Jesus Christ.
Moses embodies deliverance from sin, and King David foreshadows the establishment of God’s eternal Kingdom through Christ.
As the Evangelists affirmed, all Scripture points to Christ. This project
seamlessly weaves Old Testament themes with the coming of the Messiah, culminating in the anticipation of His birth—the most epic story ever told. The aim is to equip children with a cohesive knowledge of scripture, aided by visual media and strengthen with additional study guides and other materials.
IMPORTANT DETAILS OF THIS PROJECT
3NITY is committed to precision and adherence to Biblical revelation, specially in instances where we have to take creative licence. In order to do so, we have a process of prayerful discernment when formulating our projects and scripts, working in tandem with our board of Theologians and advisors.
The first step it to commit the vision into story parameters that then get dissected and expounded by the Creative Leadership team. Every piece is broken down by themes, reinforced by biblical references and whatever historical evidence that we can find. During this process many theological questions may pop up such as: what kind of angel was Lucifer? This is important because the answer defines the concept art, the character development and even the arc of conflict / resolution.

Check out our blog to learn more about how we have been solving some of this major questions, which include why we chose to "clothe" Adam and Eve with "Light", what that represents to us, the biblical reference to it and why it was important to us. Another example is how we chose to represent God the Father. Come & See!
